According to Article 3, Decree 123/2020/ND-CP, an eInvoice is an invoice presented in the form of electronic data issued by an organization or individual selling goods or providing services by electronic means to record information on selling goods and providing services in accordance with the law on accounting and tax law, including the case where invoices are generated from cash registers connected to electronic data transfer with tax authorities, including:

• An eInvoice with a tax authority's code is an eInvoice that is issued a code by a tax authority before an organization or individual selling goods or providing services sends it to a buyer. The tax authority's code on the eInvoice includes the transaction number, which is a unique sequence of numbers generated by the tax authority's system, and a string of characters encoded by the tax authority based on the seller's information on the invoice.

• An eInvoice without a tax authority's code is an eInvoice sent to a buyer by an organization selling goods or providing services without the tax authority's code.

• Step 1: Navigate to eVAT portal website
• Step 2: Select "Search eInvoice"
• Step 3: Enter the secret code (this code can be found on bottom of pdf file)
• Step 4: Enter the Captcha code and then click "Search" button to begin searching
• Step 5: View the result. Then download eInvoice as PDF or XML file in case the secret code & captcha code are correct

• Step 1: Navigate to eVAT portal website
• Step 2: Select "Verify XML File"
• Step 3: Upload the XML file of eInvoice from your device. A valid XML eInvoice file is an XML file issued from the eVAT system of Cloudteam Co., Ltd.
• Step 4: Enter the Captcha code and then click on the "Verify" button to begin verifying
• Step 5: View the result. Then download eInvoice as PDF or XML file in case the secret code & captcha code are correct
